Home Cook's Recommendation
Every home cook seems to have their own secret brisket recipe, so we won’t tell you how to make yours. But… no matter what seasoning you choose, we recommend seasoning the night before to let your flavors penetrate the meat, letting your brisket come to room temperature before cooking, and then wrapping your brisket in foil or butcher paper to rest for at least a half hour before slicing it against the grain.
Side Pairing
We generally pair our briskets with our favorite Shabbat and holiday sides, from kugels to salads to other delicious meats!
Beverage Pairing
Red wines with high tannins, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, or Malbec, are fantastic complements the richness of a good brisket, as well as cocktails with lemon or cranberry juice, which serve as palate cleansers and cut through the fat.
