The best way to cook this roast is by a lower oven temperature. We recommend roasting at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for about 90 minutes for a 2 pound roast, and using a timer and thermometer to ensure the correct internal temperature (165 degrees Fahrenheit) in the deepest part of the breast.
Why mess with the classics? Serve this turkey roast with roasted vegetables such as carrots and Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce.
This turkey roast pairs well with a crisp white wine or light beer. A L’Chaim with sparkling cider is also acceptable.
